Tasting notes:

  • Color: Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections.
  • Nose: Fresh aromas of citrus fruits, green apples and white peaches, accompanied by floral notes such as white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs.
  • Palate: Light and refreshing with a lively acidity. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit and apple dominate, complemented by a salty minerality that is typical of Vermentino wines from Sardinia. Subtle herbal notes and hints of almonds are also perceptible in the background.
  • Finish: Crisp and fresh with a lingering, slightly salty finish reminiscent of the Sardinian sea breeze.

The Cantina Santa Maria La Palma Vermentino 2022 is an expressive and elegant white wine that perfectly reflects the freshness and maritime influence of the Sardinian vineyards.
